About Gladys Tyler
Gladys Tyler is a women’s wear brand I designed and owned from May 2018 to December 2021. The brand focused on streetwear and denim design. My roles within the brand consisted of garment design, web design, social media marketing, and stylist/influencer relationships.
While working on Gladys Tyler my empathy for women as shoppers grew enormously. I learned that designers and retailers can sell clothes, but it’s up to the woman or the shopper to agree to purchase and wear the garment. Just like UX design the garment needs to fill a need or a strong want for the consumer to see value in it.

The design of the website mirrored the brand in its contemporary design. The goal was for the website to be sleek and easy to use, for users to learn about the brand, view products, and checkout.

While working on Gladys Tyler one of my biggest accomplishments was a feature in WWD Magazine while exhibiting in Magic Las Vegas. I also had a wonderful time building relationships with influencers and working with stylists.
